(SPR EMFI) is a young Technology Company co-founded by engineering entrepreneurs with substantial R&D and Manufacturing operations in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and Singapore, thereby providing localized e-mobility solutions to customers in India and abroad. Shriram Pistons and Rings Ltd (SPRL) is now the majority shareholder in SPR EMFI, post the majority share acquisition in SPR EMFI through its wholly owned subsidiary SPR Engenious Ltd. With the Majority shareholding, SPRL aims to expand its presence in Electric Vehicle (EV) space to supply Electric Powertrain Components such as Motors and Controllers covering all the vehicle segments from Two Wheelers, Three Wheelers, Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles and Buses to both Domestic and Global clients in the Automotive and Industrial sectors.
